Your Role as Instructor & Proctor

There are three key ServSafe roles. You are pursuing or aligned with Instructor and Proctor.

Instructor

Teaches the course and prepares students.

Proctor

Administers the exam and is required for certification.

Registered Instructor/Proctor

You can teach AND certify students directly.

If you’re not fully registered yet, you can still teach classes now and partner with a certified proctor temporarily.
